Xtreme Descent 2010.

In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America, the Daniel Webster Council will be hosting the second annual Xtreme Descent, an event of a life-time.

If you remember Xtreme Descent 2009, you know that this is not a normal fundraising event. Xtreme Descent is a unique fundraising event that provides the community an opportunity to safely rappel a 24-story office building in downtown Manchester, NH.

We don’t want to give away the good details yet, but be prepared for an exciting event. Xtreme Descent 2010 will add a twist to last year’s event.

If you want to be a brave participant, there will be a place for others to help send you over the edge to make the “Xtreme Descent.” If you don’t want to make the descent yourself, you can support other courageous participants.

More details to come very soon. Please visit back to find out how to

if you are fund raising as a team, does the team need to raise a certain amount to participate in the rappel? Do all team members have the opportunity to rappel or just the team captain?

thanks!
